Young Entrepreneurs Contribute to Shared Economy and Smart City of Shanghai

On the afternoon of September 4, Grand Finale for the Shared Economy and Smart City Section of the 2017 "Lingang Cup" Shanghai Youth Innovation Entrepreneurship Competition was held in the modern service industry cluster of Caohejing (as shown in the picture, shot by Lu Xiang). The event saw presence of Hu Zhe, Head of Youth Entrepreneurship Project under the Shanghai Communist Youth League Committee, together with senior officials from the Xuhui Communist Youth League Committee, Xuhui’s Women’s Federation, Science and Technology Commission and the Office of Scientific Innovation.

 

In accordance with the requirements of Shanghai Communist Youth League Committee, Xuhui Communist Youth League Committee centered around the areas of smart city and shared economy to carry out the Grand Finale for the Shared Economy and Smart City Section of the 2017 "Lingang Cup" Shanghai Youth Innovation Entrepreneurship Competition. The event was guided by the Shanghai Communist Youth League Committee and Office of Xuhui Human Recourse Coordination Team, and was organized jointly by Xuhui Communist Youth League Committee,   Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League and Xuhui District, the Office of the work of the coordination of personnel as a guide unit, the Communist Youth League Xuhui District Committee, Xuhui Science and Technology Commission, Caohejing Xinxing Technology Development Zone Development General Company and Shanghai Instrument and Electronics (Group) Co., Ltd.

 

Contestants were required to present a roadshow and answer questions raised by the judges, which directly showed the innovative achievements of start-up teams, facilitated the deepening and upgrading of the innovation and entrepreneurship spirit. The event invited representative co-working spaces and some young investors, and set the Salon section to gain a better understanding of start-up owners in their way of setting up their business; through an audience vote, Kelaiwan was selected as the best popularity award. The judges of the event comprised Yan Jianjun, Chairman of Zenitek Group, Long Wei, Co-founder of Dianping.com, Huang Xiaoming, CEO of Lide Shanjin Asset Management, and Le Qinglin, partner at Maxcapital, who decided that Haogugu, a community-based child tendering project, won the first prize.

 

Shanghai Communist Youth League Committee is scheduled to host the award ceremony of the 2017 "Lingang Cup" Shanghai Youth Innovation Entrepreneurship Competition on September 12, where start-up owners of the top 60 project will present and make their own share for innovation.
